Wez from Salvo joined the ED Spring Invite server using a steambans / ed banned id, thus getting the whole Salvo team removed from the event.

This evening Birmingham Salvo were removed from the Enemy Down Spring Invite event.
Wez, a key player for Salvo, went into the match versus Infused tonight using an ID not recognised on the Salvo Enemy Down roster. The ID was in fact linked to a convicted hacker, already permanently banned from SteamBans.
With direct effect Birmingham Salvo have been removed from the tournament for using a banned player, and all of their matches will be forfeit wins to their opponents from here on in.
Gary 'ThE4cE..' Gourlay, Enemy Down Head CSS Admin had this to say on the matter:
"It was brought to light that Salvo were using a steambanned and ED banned user after cross checking the information given it turned out to be accurate. WEZlington was playing for Salvo under a different name and was on the Salvo roster with a different ID but in the match he was using his banned ID.
All of their results will be defaulted to date and their partaking in the tournament ends tonight."
Gary also mentioned to me that this does not affect their standing with regards to future events with Enemy Down.
