This is the Official ED Rules for TF2

TF2 (1) Cheats & Scripts

1. Any cheats or modifications such as aimbots, wallhacks, ESP, etc are all strictly forbidden. Any individual(s) found using them will be removed from ED and permanently banned. If a clan leader is found to be cheating the clan may be removed from Enemydown. The use of modifications such as custom skins, scopes, sounds huds etc are also not allowed.

2. Any script that gives a player an unfair advantage, such as a spy stabbing and auto cloaking is not allowed.

TF2 (2) Unique Ids

1. Unique IDs are required; this is known as the 'Steam ID'. Please refer to the site help for more information. The IDs should be checked BEFORE the match starts, and you will be given up to 5 minutes for this task (if the match starts at 9.00, the first five until 9.05 will be for checking ID's).

If a full team does not show until after the 15 minute waiting period and the match commences before the other players arrive the ID's may be checked after the match.

If a clan is playing with players not verified then the opposition should inform them of this before the match starts. The clan should then substitute the offending player(s). Clans may be given up to 15 minutes to change players, after which the match should start. If the clan refuses, they will lose by default.

2. Players without verified ID's (i.e. players with red crosses) are never allowed to play in official matches. This is regardless of any agreements between clans.

Red-crossed players MAY take part in PCWs but only if the opposing clan agrees. Players not registered on ED (i.e. not appearing on the clan's ED member's page) may NOT take part in ANY ED-related matches, even if the opposition agrees. Where this happens, the match will be voided and both clans may be punished at the admin's discretion.

3. Players that do not have user accounts on ED (ie, players on the clan roster as 'grey-face' players) may NOT play in official ED matches, regardless of any agreements between clans. Un-registered players may play PCW matches, but only with the agreement of the opposing clan.

4. Mercing / Dual Accounting within the same clan or between clans is strictly forbidden. This includes multiple steamID's per account, merc accounts and multiple user accounts within the same clan. Players found breaking this rule will be punished severely.

TF2 (3) Spectators

1. The ED rules state that you cannot have spectators on the server during a match.

2. Spectators may use SourceTV to view a match but tv_delay must be set to at least 120.

TF2 (4) Demos

1. Source TV must be used during all matches and must be made available upon request to both the opposing clan CL or D/CL and to any ED Admins, Source TV demos should be retained for two weeks after the date the match was played. (ED) Updated TF2 Rules

TF2 New Ladder & Rule Updates
January 23rd 2008

We are pleased to announce the addition of a new TF2 Ladder the 6v6 No Crit ladder is up and open to existing & new clans to join.
http://www.enemydown.co.uk/ladder.php?ladder=87

We have set up this ladder with the following rule set. All classes will be set to a max of 2, apart from medic which will be max of 1. The tftrue mod will be used to set-up no crit. All the extra info can be found in the rule section. http://www.enemydown.co.uk/wiki/help/index.php?page=Team_Fortress_2

In addition to this we have updated the ED configs and the rules for the other ladders with the following.

2fort is now played with a 1 cap 1 point setting, with the setting changed in the config to a 0 on capping so positions are not reset after a team scores.

Well, 2fort & Granary will now play with a winlimit set, 30 min has a winlimit of 6, 45 min has a winlimit of 8 and 60 min with a winlimit of 10.

Dustbowl & Gravelpit will be now played using the edtf2tl120 config and matches will be played for Dustbowl with 2 attacks/defence rule, and Gravelpit 3 attack/defence rule. This will hopefully give a fairer match to both sides.

The new configs also include all cvars for No Crit matches, so you will need to make sure that the tftrue mod is removed from the server if you are playing a non crit match. The latest version of the tftrue mod can be downloaded from - http://www.mrlwork.com/source/tftrue.html
In the event of issues with the no crit mod due to updates to steam, matches can be played either without the mod or voided until tftrue mod is updated

The new configs can be downloaded from - http://www.enemydown.co.uk/stuff.php
The latest version is version 1.4, please make sure all servers are updated with this asap.

With the launch of the new 6v6 ladder it is our intention to run a 6v6 league for this ladder as soon as we have enough teams entered to make this viable.
