do you know if you can install a dedi like css where it downloads all the files, or is it a case of uploading the game files ?

with css u use steams server program which downloads all the files needed to run the server, but just about all over games require the files from the cd / dvd :(

yhea i want a change to, bring on standard css maps, also if its a 66, 32 man that would be spot on... office, aztec, d2, inferno, nuke, and another cs map, just to start off with :D

if you put a mod on, you will get bored after a while and have to change it again. Tho if you put on standard maps, no1 will get bored, just like with the d2 server

We could have a 32 slot server but it would need to be 33 tick :(, but tbh i've always prefered 20 slots @ 66 :D

My thoughts are the same, mods are fun but are always short lived, the only servers that last for us, are the standard maps as you say :D

GG server is more less always full... Leave it as it is

thing is, i can't play on the gg server, for some reason it makes my hl2.exe crash, hence why i never play it, its annoying having something that is never used, the dust2 server late at night is fun to play but when its busy during the day, it is extremely irratating to play, ppl slagging off people, people getting accused. blah blah blah.

This is why I personally want to change it and hopefully get more of the clan playing together on our public servers, its a complete waste otherwise.
I can guarentee your never see more than 1 or 2 sd members on our public servers at a given time let alone being responsible admins / mature / tags etc

i like the idea of standard maps, I like playing maps like italy and inferno on public, coz there usually only played in matches, but then again that sort of server never really attracts lots of people. I like custom map servers tho they can be fun

one thing i'm thinking of is to setup each of the most popular outcomes and do a server rotation say 1 a week or so, and see how each of them go.

i'm also contemplating putting mani back on as most of the plugins we use from sourcemod do not work due to the latest valve update :(

i'm gonna start setting up multiple servers tonight, and have them setup individually like gungame, standard maps, deathmatch etc etc and then rotate the servers whenever requested or periodically, might even chuck in different games into the rotation like a public tf2 / cs1.6 and maybe some other games ? (the original kohmando idea :D)
