Spring Open Cup Rules
1 - All normal ED rules apply unless otherwise stated in this section.
2 - All games will be played on Clans own servers. You MUST have your own server to apply. ED Cup cfg can be viewed by downloading the MR15 cfg from the "download stuff" link in the right menu. ED MR15 cfg MUST be used on your server.
3 - A Match Admin will watch random games each week. You may be approached by an ED admin who will request to spectate your game. You do not need to give him/her the rcon password for your server.
4 - In the event where a cheating accusation is confirmed then the clan will be removed from the Cup and further punishment will be at the admins discretion.
5 - Abuse towards other clans or the admins will not be tolerated. The punishment for abuse will be determined by the admins and can result in players or clans removal from the Cup.
6 - Rescheduling is allowed but matches MUST be played BEFORE the following Friday(ie. Thursday night) and clans MUST post in match notes that a reschedule is requested. It is upto the teams invovled to come to an agreement and post in match notes the outcome of the reschedule. If the match is not played before the following Friday it will be defaulted against the team who requested the reschedule. Reschedules are NOT permitted during the quarter finals, semi-finals or finals unless granted authorisation from the Events Admins.
7 - The cup is straight knockout.
8 - In the event of a no show a default will be awarded and the other teams goes through.
10 - All matches will be played using MR15, 1:45 minute rounds and a 10 second freezetime.
11 - Pausing on the server will be enabled. Games should only be paused at the very start of a round and should last no more than 7 minutes for the whole game per team.
12 - Knife fights should be used to choose sides. Pistols should be kept and the bomb should be dropped at Terrorist spawn. If you fire a gun and hit a member of the opposite team then your side loses the knife fight.
13 - Taking advantages of map bugs is not allowed. Using these bugs will result in a minimum 2 rounds being deducted from the clans score for every offence, intentional or otherwise.
14 - Servers MUST run the latest version of zBlock.
16 - In the event of a 15-15 draw, teams will play overtime which is MR3 + 10k startmoney. The team that won knives can choose which side they start overtime. If overtime is still tied 3-3, you play double overtime, then triple, and so on, until you have a winner.
17 - XAC is required for all players.
